GREAT BAY—In a rather surprising move, the Cullen family has issued a statement noting that they concur with recent statements made by Prosecutor Jan Bart Develing, where it was mentioned that the death of 28-year-old Vincent Cullen was medically related. Just earlier this week, the family had indicated that they had sought the involvement of the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Embassy and the services of a Private Detective to investigate what they were convinced was a murder case.

The man’s father, Vincent P. Cullen, signed the family’s statement.

ImageHis sister was the one who made the disclosure about the involvement of additional security agencies and personnel.

In his statement, Cullen thanked all involved “for all your sincere condolences and your ongoing thoughts and prayers.”

Vincent Cullen was found dead just last Wednesday in the Cay Bay area.

It was initially believed that his death was a robbery that evolved to murder since he was missing his wallet with credit cards and about US$500 in cash.

Cullen left his hotel in Cupecoy around 5:45pm in the afternoon that day and his body was found around 8:00pm, and was reported through a 911 call to the police.

His family was found with the use of a medical prescription strip and a bunch of keys that were in his pockets.
